Summary

The program manager leads the Yellowstone program team, and they are ultimately responsible for the Yellowstone Wildlife/Winter Ecology Program’s and Bitterroot Wildlife Internship’s vision, strategy, and execution of goals. In addition to high-level program management, the manager will also be responsible for certain aspects of program implementation, including maintaining existing relationships and fostering new ones with research and community partners. The program manager will also be integral in the hiring and training of field staff, especially with regard to research and service projects. The program manager will also oversee the permitting processes that allows Yellowstone winter and wildlife ecology courses to operate on public lands in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, including on National Park Service and US Forest Service lands.

Compensation Information

This is a salaried, exempt position. Salary range is $57,076-$62,784/year. Pay Grade E (Manager Level). Starting salary will be based on relevant experience, skills, and education.
