Summary

  • Direct the full range of visitor center services at the Arctic Interagency Visitor Center to include informational services, facility maintenance, and safe/enjoyable recreation and educational experiences. 
  • Direct the interpretive programming from plans and development through delivery to a variety of audiences and oversee studies and surveys in support of interpretive programming and visitor services.
  • Apply substantive knowledge to continually evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of interpretive programming and visitor services through visitor surveys and studies.
  • Develop and deliver natural and cultural resource related interpretive programs and develop interpretive products using a wide range of media.
  • Conduct patrols to assess and evaluate site traffic, environmental impacts, and visitor experience. Develop plans for safety of site visitors. Manage volunteers.

BLM has determined that the duties of this position are suitable for telework and the selectee may be allowed to telework with supervisor approval.

Compensation Information

$81,956 - $106,541 per year

The salary includes base pay and locality pay. You will also receive a 1.69% cost of living allowance. This allowance is subject to annual review.
