American Conservation Experience, a nonprofit Conservation Corps, in partnership with Whitman Mission National Historic Site, is seeking 2 members to contribute to interpretive visitor services projects alongside NPS Staff.

Summary

Whitman Mission National Historic Site is seeking to place two members to serve as ACE Interpretive Members alongside Interpretive Rangers at the park. The ACE member will be expected to research the history of Whitman Mission National Historic Site (WHMI) in order to develop and present formal interpretive programs to the public, regularly hike park trails, engage the public through programming (educational and interpretive) and informal contacts, and sell merchandise.

Compensation Information

Living Allowance: The ACE Member is expected to contribute ~40 hours/week and will receive a living allowance of $700 a week to offset the costs of food and incidental expenses, dispersed bi-weekly.
