The Montana Discovery Foundation has connected the communities surrounding the Helena-Lewis and Clark National Forest with their public lands for nearly 25 years. We believe that everyone belongs outdoors and work to provide opportunities for outdoor education, stewardship, and interpretation. We provide most of our programs free of charge and seek out underserved communities in a number of areas of central and western Montana.

Summary

The Executive Director supports the work of MDF's Education and Outreach staff by overseeing the financial health and administration of the organization. As a small nonprofit, we crafted financial stability and have begun the process of increasing our programming capacity at a steady pace. We hope to hire an Executive Director who is passionate about conservation education and who cares about the communities and public lands in Montana.

Compensation Information

$50,000 annual salary.
Flexible work schedule, which can include remote work options.
11 paid holidays, vacation and sick leave policy.
$100 monthly healthcare stipend in lieu of employer-provided insurance.
3% salary match to retirement account contributions.
