Interpretive Naturalist for the Spring Mountains National Recreation Area. Also known as Mount Charleston, The Spring Mountains National Recreation Area offers opportunities for year-round fun. Work side by side with the US Forest Service, creating programs for the public and welcoming visitors at the Spring Mountains Visitor Gateway.

Summary

This position will support, develop, and implement environmental education programs in coordination with federal land management partners in the Spring Mountains National Recreation Area. Programs are tailored for the public of all ages and backgrounds. Types of programs include drop-in programs, tabletop programs, school field trips, homeschool groups, scout groups, special events, and outreach events. Additionally, the interpreter naturalist will engage with the public around the visitor center and information desk.

Compensation Information

$45,000-$47,000 depending on experience
