Summary
The position of part-time Environmental Educator for the Lower Rappahannock Office of Friends of the Rappahannock serves a diverse population of students and teachers. We provide watershed science instruction to students in classrooms and outside in field trip experiences, often kayaking on the water. We also provide professional development to a wide array of teachers. Our educators are able to engage students and teacher alike by providing experiences that include on-going restoration efforts in the area. This person would report of our Lower Rappahannock Office Education Manager.
