Summary
Under the direction of the District Superintendent, the Interpretation and Education Program Manager provides leadership for all Angeles District interpretive services including planning, developing, directing and supervising activities of staff and volunteers engaged in interpretation and education. This position also acts as the lead volunteer coordinator for the district. This position will manage budgeting for planning and maintenance of interpretive facilities, equipment, and programming needs and will contribute to research and social media content efforts.
The normal work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 4:30PM, with flexibility necessary for weekends, evenings, and holidays.
The reporting location for this position is Malibu Creek State Park in Calabasas, CA. This position will work under the direction of District Superintendent I.
This position is not eligible for telework. This position requires a valid Class C driver’s license.

Compensation Information
$6,862.00 - $8,527.00 monthly plus excellent State benefits.
