Summary
The Water Quality Education and Outreach Coordinator will oversee KC Water's education and engagement team. This position oversees and audits educational and outreach programs by analyzing data from questionnaires, interviews, and group discussions. Coordinates and leads indoor and outdoor water education programs, including classroom lessons, green infrastructure tours, litter pickups, storm drain marking, stormwater presentations, and related environmental education as it relates to water.
Requires an accredited Bachelor's degree and 3 years of progressively responsible, professional experience in business or public sector administration, with at least 2 years at the level of Senior Administrative Assistant; OR an equivalent combination of qualifying education and experience, with at least 3 years at the level of Senior Administrative Assistant. Preference given to applicants with 5 years of progressively responsible experience as an environmental professional or educational program manager and 3 years of experience in classroom instruction in K-12 accredited institution.

Compensation Information
Full-time position available with the Water Department, Engagement & Education Division located at 4800 E. 63rd St.
Salary Range: $4,619-$6,928/month
Normal Work Days/Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.*Telework available for 1 day per pay period after 6 month probationary period.
