The Program Director for the Outdoor Program is a staff member of the Erb Memorial Union (EMU) and reports to the Associate Director of the EMU. This position is responsible for providing strategic direction and vision for the Outdoor Program at the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon.

Summary

This position is responsible for providing strategic direction and vision for the Outdoor Program. It has administrative oversight of the program including budget, personnel, facilities, risk management, and extensive programming. Programming falls into 3 categories that all rely heavily on student feedback and input: 1) Events and Trips, 2) Bike Program, and 3) Rentals. This position serves as an advocate for the value of lifelong learning, active lifestyles and the outdoors, as such it assists in programming a wide variety of outdoor activities, the UO Bike Program, a rental program and educational events.

Compensation Information

$58,000 - $65,000 per year; candidates with advanced skills and experience may be considered for a starting salary above this range.
