Summary
Boulder County Parks and Open Space (BCPOS) department is seeking to hire 15 Youth Corps Team Leader (TL) positions. Team Leader is a temporary, supervisory level classification with the Boulder County Youth Corps summer program. Team Leaders supervise a team of up to 10 adolescents aged 14-17 at a variety of work sites for eight weeks and mentor the development of personal accomplishment, teamwork, and community service with their team members.
This is a hourly, non-benefited position with an anticipated end date of August, 2023. This position will work Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm during training. The schedule during the season varies, but generally the schedule is Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 5:00pm, and Friday 9:00am - 11:00am. This position will work either out of Boulder or Longmont, Colorado. Under Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) guidelines, this position is non-exempt (eligible for overtime).
Compensation Information
Hiring Salary Range:
- $20.69 hourly for 1st year TLs
- $21.21 hourly for 2nd year TLs
- $21.74 hourly for 3rd year TLs
