The Utah Conservation Corps (UCC) is Utah's award-winning, and nationally recognized statewide Conservation Corps headquartered in Logan, Utah at Utah State University's main campus. The UCC has been Utah's largest environmental AmeriCorps program since 2001, completing service work on public lands, in communities, and with various organizations throughout the state.
Summary
Responsibilities:
The Recreation Crew - Facility Maintenance Crewmember assists other workers with repairs to various facilities and grounds. The crewmember will utilize elementary knowledge of different skills and related tools of the trade to assist with repair to plumbing, drainage systems, roofs, carpentry projects, and other miscellaneous tasks. Duties also include cleaning working areas upon completion of assignments, removing waste materials, and cleaning and caring for tools and equipment. The crewmember will also assist the reservoir crew in the placement and maintenance of the dock system and other infrastructure. The position is also responsible for performing ground maintenance and landscaping duties; such as mowing, edging, and leaf collection.

Compensation Information
Program Benefits
- $16.14/hour along with health care coverage (if needed), workers compensation, and FICA/Medicare.
The Utah Conservation Corps (UCC) in partnership with the Ashley National Forest is advertising a Recreation Crew (Facility Maintenance) Corpsmember position. This is a 90 to 115 days full-time work experience from approximately mid-May through mid-late September 2023.
