Summary

Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy has worked for over 35 years to bring Brooklyn Bridge Park to life. Now an essential supporter, the Conservancy serves as the Park’s main programming partner. Through a yearly line-up of hundreds of free and low-cost cultural, recreational, and educational events, our programs help the Park reach its full potential as a dynamic and vibrant public space for all. Since 2000, over 1.8 million visitors have enjoyed the Conservancy’s free, public programs in Brooklyn Bridge Park.

The Conservancy’s Education Program is dedicated to teaching people of all ages and backgrounds about Brooklyn Bridge Park’s unique built and natural environment.  We aim to create diverse and experiential programming that will inspire stewardship and life-long learning. In our school and camp programs, we use the park as a laboratory for hands-on investigation and incorporate inquiry-based and experiential learning into STEAM lessons that focus on the park’s ecology, history and design.
