Math / STEAM / STEM Educator grades 4-6

Trailblazers School of North Georgia is a nature-based hybrid school in Buford, Georgia serving grades PreK-6th. Our lead educators will work closely with our environmental educators and curriculum team to create a safe, happy, joyful learning environment for our students.

Qualifications:

Experience working with children in a variety of capacities

Desire and comfortable with working in the outdoors in a variety of weather conditions

Training and/or interest in developing expertise in innovative and inclusive educational methods (e.g., Culturally Relevant and Sustaining practices, Environmental Education, STEAM, Arts-based pedagogies, Universal Design for Learning, Reggio Emilia, Montessori, Waldorf) Preferred but not required.

Willingness to transparently collaborate with other educators, caregivers, and children and participate in building a young school.

Value and demonstrate a real commitment to diverse perspectives

Desire to partner with children in shared inquiries

Teaching certification not required. Bachelors degree required.
