Come provide positive outdoor, interactive, water quality-based education programming to a diverse group of patrons and program participants at Minneapolis Parks! The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) is seeking a Water Quality Education Program Lead and Water Quality Educator to work in multiple locations throughout Minneapolis at community events, programs, and celebrations.

Summary

Come professionally represent MPRB Environmental Education at community and neighborhood events while providing water quality tabling activities, develop new water quality materials and or programming, and assist with the implementation of the Canines for Clean Water educational campaign and corresponding events.

Compensation Information

Water Quality Education Program Lead: $22.00 per hour, plus mileage reimbursement when driving a personal vehicle for work purposes within scheduled work hours. 

Water Quality Educator: $18.00 per hour, plus mileage reimbursement when driving a personal vehicle for work purposes within scheduled work hours. 

Both positions are eligible for sick and safe leave in accordance with the Minneapolis Sick and Safe Time Ordinance. These positions are not eligible for other benefits.
