The City of Santa Cruz Resource Recovery Division of Public Works seeks a Waste Reduction Assistant. This fast-paced role provides an opportunity to let your skills in customer service, public presentations, strategic thinking, and content creation shine and allows for abundant learning opportunities. Join us in ensuring the City of Santa Cruz continues to be a leader in sustainability and innovative programs. Minimum requirements are a high school diploma or equivalent, two years of experience providing public information and/or public education, and a valid California driver's license. Successful completion of one year of college-level coursework in marketing, public administration, education, environmental studies, journalism or a related field OR one year of experience in environmental education or resource management may substitute for one year of the required experience.
