Sr Supervisor Enforcement (Ranger)

Supervises, leads, and supports the Natural Areas Lead Rangers and Natural Areas Rangers, up to eight direct reports. Leads and oversees day to day operations of the Ranger unit. Plans, directs, and monitors the job assignments of Lead Rangers and Rangers. Performs the functions of employees supervised by conducting patrols of natural areas and trails, typically no more than 20% of the time. Works closely with Fort Collins Police Services and the Lead Rangers and provides law enforcement perspective to civilian staff. Works weekends. Schedule is flexible, depending on needs of the team.  Most work is office or field-based with some opportunities for telework.

The first year work plan includes onboarding new Rangers and supporting the transition to a new organizational structure (this is a new supervisory position).
