DCR is seeking qualified applicants for the positions of Seasonal Park Interpreters (PI) and Seasonal Visitor Services Supervisors (VSS).

Summary

Park Interpreters perform various interpretive, educational, and administrative task. They may staff an information desk/kiosk, provide visitor information and orientation, and present a variety of interpretive programs that reflect the natural, cultural and historical themes of the park. 

Visitor Services Supervisors are responsible for daily supervision of programs and tours, staffing Visitor Centers, providing roving informal interpretation, and assisting with community events. They may facilitate special events. They work with park partners, local non-profits, volunteers, as well as additional stakeholders and agencies.

Compensation Information

Compensation varies by position. See the above listed position descriptions for details. Short Term Seasonal staff accrue paid leave. Long Term Seasonal staff are eligible for health, vision, and dental insurance, paid leave, and are required to participate in the state pension plan.
