Outdoor Education Supervisor

This position is responsible for providing leadership, direction, and supervision in planning, implementing, and evaluating components of Park District outdoor education program; and directs operation of a nature center facility/assigned sites and staff, consistent with the Park District's mission.

Bachelor’s degree in natural sciences, education, outdoor/environmental education, recreation and park administration, or related field, AND a minimum of four years of progressively responsible experience in developing and implementing a wide variety of innovative outdoor education programs, including both interpretation and recreation, OR any combination of education and experience equal to the above.  A Master's degree in a related field may be substituted for one year of experience.
