Summary

This position reports to the Park Superintendent and Chief of Interpretation and is responsible for the development of recreational, natural and cultural resource interpretive programs and related materials in Bellevue State Park (BVSP). Specifically, this position will develop and conduct public interpretive programs, school field trips, off-site outreach programs, and other events for the historical and natural resources located at Bellevue State Park with the intent of increasing the public’s awareness of these resources and cultivating a sense of stewardship for them. This position works closely with the Park's nonprofit Friends group and will work with government agencies and other environmental organizations in the development of programs.
