Do you love nature, the outdoors, and talking to people? Are you interested in learning and connecting people to nature and to parks? Are you interested in work-based learning and professional development in parks? This is a full-time, one-year, paid fellowship designed for individuals interested in parks, nature, and community engagement.

Summary

The One Tam Community Engagement Fellow will help make connections, and lead programs that educate, inspire, engage park visitors and volunteers on Mt. Tam on a wide range of topics and with a focus on communities who have never visited our park lands. The Fellow will operate the Tam Van, our mobile visitor center, and develop activities to engage visitors using this tool both in parks and at community events.

Compensation Information

  • Pay rate: $22/hour (Grade 8)
