Summary

The Delaware Sea Grant Extension, Education, and Research Internship (EERI) offers hands-on experience in marine science education, outreach, and research. Interns will assist with non-formal education programs, community science initiatives, and fieldwork in areas like submerged aquatic vegetation (SAV), fisheries, and climate science. Responsibilities include leading public tours, supporting teacher workshops, developing outreach materials, and conducting environmental monitoring. This paid internship (10–13 weeks, 20–29 hours/week) is ideal for students or recent graduates interested in science communication and environmental stewardship.
