The Partner Sales Manager is responsible for primarily supporting Teton Science Schools' Partner Sales Department (B2B) pipeline and process, including booking and contracting the majority of visiting, residential public school districts, independent schools, educational nonprofits, private events, meetings, and all other mission-aligned organizations and external revenue production across our three campuses. This position reports directly to the Director of Partner Sales.

The ideal candidate for this role will be an individual who can independently identify and create new mission-aligned partner revenue opportunities by using their sales, communication, and project management skills to increase the revenue production for all areas of external groups and programs, and partner sales pipeline, and exceed both individual and team annual sales goals. The Partner Sales Manager independently identifies, creates, and nurtures existing partner and client relationships with mission-aligned, education-based partner programs and other key stakeholders involved in the decision-making process in a fast-paced sales environment.

Main responsibilities will include identifying, generating, and booking new youth education, event, and meeting groups using research, direct prospecting, sales solicitation, and daily prospecting sales calls. The role requires a self-motivated, systems-thinker with extremely strong customer service and sales experience and attention to detail to successfully meet and exceed sales goals. The role will focus on identifying new partner group opportunities, new markets, lead follow-up, and a particular focus and emphasis on booking lodging, meals, and programming for educational groups across three campuses self-sufficiently. The Partner Sales Manager tracks their own weekly and monthly revenue production, creates and manages revenue production reports, and presents data to the Director of Partner Sales on progress for achieving goals through Google Sheets and utilizing our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Salesforce system and other systems.

  • Ability to work well in collaboration with a variety of team members, departments in a mid-size, fast-paced organization
  • Experience with non-profit and/or education-based youth programs preferred
  • Group Sales and contracting experience preferred and will consider transferable marketing, business development, and other related skills
  • Ability to independently create and implement sales plans to increase external revenue, manage partners (clients), programs, and projects autonomously
  • Experience with IT and CRM systems (i.e., Salesforce), Google Drive, and presentation software preferred
  • Efficient time management, flexibility, and strong organizational skills
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:
  • Able to write/type/communicate
  • Able to sit/stand at a desk for up to 8 hours
  • Highly preferred to be located onsite, primarily based in an office space at the Jackson Campus of Teton Science Schools with potential meetings/interactions/work on all campus locations
  • Administrative work with a central location and a strategic goal of spending work time across TSS campuses
Responsibilities:
Sales / Client Service
  • Monitor and manage the lead and inquiry pipelines leveraging systems and tools (CRM, data reporting, sales call sheets, etc.)
  • Develop and maintain excellent collaborative relationships with current and prospective clients
  • Independently generate a minimum of 60% of the Partner Sales Annual Team Revenue Goal, including a minimum of 30% revenue from new partner programs
  • Support the stewardship of prospective clients from inquiry to closing
  • Provide exceptional partner client service via omni-channel communications
  • Advocate and champion for partners internally
  • Advocate and champion for Teton Science Schools externally
  • Identify new potential partners and prospects by using market trends, reports, surveys, available data, and through self-driven market research
  • Develop client survey and data collection tools to inform the sales process that leads to pipeline growth and increasing close rates
  • Conduct partner site tours of all three campuses and other prospective sales engagements as requested
  • Identify new potential events, tradeshows, sales trips, conferences, and conventions that show a significant ROI for creating new partner relationships and programs
  • If remote-based, requirement to spend a minimum of 1 week (5 working days) per quarter onsite at Teton Science Schools in Jackson, WY to learn, interact with colleagues and partners, and support internal operations
  • Represent Teton Science Schools at internal and external events, including: local/regional community events, national educational tradeshows, sales road trips, educational conferences, and conventions
Sales Operations
  • Ensure accurate client information, opportunity data, and service details in our CRM database
  • Work with Partner Contract Specialist one-on-one to refine and consistently execute on sales workflow with a particular focus on hand-off from sales to program area leads
  • Participate in meetings with the Director of Partner Sales, CEO, CFO, and other team members to review pipeline, sales forecasting, efficiencies, and areas of process improvement
  • Act as a liaison between sales, registration/business systems, Outdoor Learning Experiences Team, and Finance Team to ensure all information is communicated accurately and timely
  • Assist with other partner sales and market duties as assigned to support the Sales and Marketing team and program areas of Teton Science Schools
CRM Support
  • Regularly review and audit CRM to ensure accuracy, status, and workflow management of sales inquiries, leads, and contacts
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of dashboards and analysis of marketing and communications campaigns to determine effectiveness
  • Work with the Registration/Business Systems Team to build and manage workflows, reports, and dashboards
  • Utilize CRM to manage sales-specific marketing automation (i.e., drip campaigns, sales follow-ups, etc.)
  • Attend Data Working Group meetings as needed to assure the quality of contact data used in sales initiatives and sales inquiry workflows
One TSS Responsibilities

Compensation Information

$55,000 - $65,000 annual.
