At Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance (CBA), we build a community of water stewards to care for local waterways! Help us build community by making science accessible and fun for a wide and diverse audience. The Education, Event and Engagement Specialist, will take a lead role in shaping and implementing our annual event calendar and media campaigns, support K-12 education at key times, and work with the CBA team to create engagement and retention strategies for stakeholders. Summary

Work for Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance (CBA) of Northwest Florida State College! CBA sustains swimmable fishable waterways in the Choctawhatchee Basin through monitoring, education, restoration and research. We are growing and adding a Education, Event and Engagement Specialist to our team of scientists and educators. The Specialist will need enthusiasm for science and conservation, ability to make complex topics accessible to a wide audience, and willingness to embrace our local waterways. Compensation Information

$35,984.00 annually

Health insurance, paid time off (sick leave, personal and 2 weeks vacation) plus 3 weeks paid vacation (Spring Break and Christmas). Access to Northwest Florida State College facilities and discounted and free tickets to College events.
