Summary

Experience Gained:
- Hands-on teaching skills and techniques
- Public speaking skills
- Ability to manage large groups
- Implementation of environmental education programs with groups of all ages
- Experience caring and managing live educator animals

Qualifications:
- 18 years of age or older
- Current student of, or recent graduate from, a college program, or individuals interested in an education career
- Positive attitude and ability to work well with others
- Willingness to learn and teach in classroom and outdoor settings using equipment like canoes
- Ability to communicate with a variety of ages and backgrounds.
- Willingness to work ~40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
- Willingness to work with animal artifacts such as skulls, pelts, and related taxidermy.
- Ability to walk 5 miles over rough terrain with a 20-pound pack.
- Valid driver's license (encouraged) and willingness to drive a 75-passenger van with canoe trailer.
- Appreciated, not required: Current First Aid/CPR certification and/or Lifeguard certification.
