CLC's Outreach & Education Intern works to further CLC’s mission as it relates to engaging our community through online and in-person outreach. This position supports CLC’s Communications and Education teams. This is a paid 12-week position, approximately 35 hours per week, running mid-May thru August, with flexible start and end dates. $16/hour.

Learning Goals
- Collaboratively practice outdoor interpretation skills
- Build Intern’s proficiency in digital and in-person outreach.
- Learn best practices for program evaluation.
- Provide Intern regular feedback toward meeting workplace expectations.
- Help Intern access professional role models and mentors.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Review and summarize Natural Resources Inventories and ethnoecology reports in order to update site interpretive materials in digital and in-person formats.
- Take the lead on updating interpretive tours in an app.
- Work with a team to create a plan for evaluating public programs and reach out to partner organizations to determine barriers for accessing public programs.
- Assist with education programs.
- Attend programs and summer camps as support.
- If interested, opportunity to lead a program in an areas of interest.
- Represent CLC at community events while sharing information about programs offered and answering questions.

Compensation Information
This is a seasonal summer internship, approximately 12 weeks at 35 hours per week, $16 per hour. Eligible for travel reimbursement as necessary. No housing provided.
