Summary

Red Gate Farm is seeking a hard-working, kind, and enthusiastic individual to lead day and overnight farm programs. The Farm Educator and Summer Farm Educators work closely with children and visiting school groups, making meaningful connections with children through work in our barns, forest, and gardens. Farm Educator helps to develop programs, and assists with farm maintenance and operation as needed. This position is designed with many opportunities to learn and grow as an educator in a unique outdoor setting.

Compensation Information

For the full-time educator position we offer a salary of $36,279, health insurance, up to 3 weeks of vacation and 3 weeks of additional paid time off. On-site room and board is possible.

For seasonal, Summer Farm Educators compensation ranges from $2,500 - $5,500 depending on experience for the 8-week season. On-site room and board provided.

We also have a fill a number of part-time teaching positions seasonally. Pay is $18/hr with flexible hours available.
