Summary

The Kellogg Bird Sanctuary in Augusta, Michigan is excited to find passionate and enthusiastic environmental educators to join their team. These educators will play a vital role in providing students with engaging, hands-on, and place-based learning experiences. They will lead field trips and outreach programming, reporting to KBS's Outreach Coordinator.

As a public outreach venue of KBS, the Kellogg Bird Sanctuary has a mission to raise environmental awareness through research, education, and outreach programming and events. The KBS Outreach Program is dedicated to providing hands-on, investigative education about the natural sciences, with a special emphasis on youth.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable leading groups of people outdoors, as most education programs take place outside. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact by educating and inspiring the next generation of environmental stewards.
