Summary

About Us: Vilda is committed to providing a stimulating and nurturing environment for children. Our program is designed to foster a love for nature, curiosity, and a sense of wonder. Responsibilities:

  2. Supervision and Safety: Ensure the safety and well-being of children during outdoor activities, nature walks, and playtime.
  3. Parent Communication: Maintain open and regular communication with parents, providing updates on their child's progress, activities, and any relevant information.
  4. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other educators and staff to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  5. Organization: Keep program supplies organized at our program office and ensure that you bring what you need for each day's lesson.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  2. Relevant experience in early childhood education, preferably in an outdoor or nature-based setting.
  3. Passion for and knowledge of outdoor education, environmental stewardship, and nature-based learning.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Ability to adapt to changing situations and a willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  6. First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain), Wilderness first aid preferred.
