WREN seeks a motivated and skilled individual, with a strong background and experience in environmental education, to serve as our Program Assistant. WREN's mission: through collaborations and partnerships, we provide, deliver, and create educational and community programs that increase the number of people who engage, participate, appreciate our community's stewardship of our native landscapes.

Summary

Position Overview:  WREN’s Program Assistant makes up a vital part of WREN’s 2 person staff. They work closely with the Program's Coordinator to support the work of our programs, particularly our programs for schoolchildren and adults in the South Willamette Valley about threatened and endangered species in the West Eugene Wetlands. They will arrange and co-teach a variety of programs both indoors and outdoors, coordinate volunteers, build relationships with teachers and partners, create marketing materials to support our outreach to the community.

Position Type: Part-time, 0.60 FTE, 24hrs/week non-exempt

Compensation Information

Pay Range: $16 - $18/hour based on experience

Benefits: paid sick and vacation leave, mileage reimbursement at .56 cents a mile
