Assistant Director - Milford Nature Center

This position incorporates administrative responsibilities, the development and coordination of public awareness programs and activities, implementation and maintenance of the education center's exhibits/displays and grounds as educational resources. Develops, markets and coordinates public programs for schools and other interested groups. Assists facility director in maintaining a functional, safe, and attractive building and grounds. The incumbent also assists the facility director in the operation and administration duties of Milford Nature Center to include answering phones, filling information requests for the public, and care and feeding of display wildlife at the center. Coordinates volunteers assigned to the nature center and assists with supervision of temporary employees. Assists in coordinating activities with the Milford Friends Group.
