Culturally Responsive Education Consultant

These contracted positions will work collaboratively under the direction of our Project Manager to assist with research & development, client recruitment, and strategic planning as well as fulfilling goals and deliverables for client-specific projects throughout the year.  Successful Consulting Team members are deeply invested in listening and collaborating through a Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion lens and can speak to issues of race, culture, and ability from an “I” perspective. Our final team will accurately reflect the makeup of our communities as a whole, and include people of many backgrounds, areas of expertise, and experience levels. 

We are seeking contractors with experience in any combination of the following areas:

• Coaching individuals and organizations through a Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion lens

• Leading affinity groups or other conversations around race, culture, ability, gender, or identity

• Creating and/or evaluating educational resources such as curriculum, lesson plans, activity guides, etc.

• Implementing education programs through a Culturally Responsive or Culturally Specific lens

• Incorporating strong themes and stories into educational resources and programming

• Background in a STEAMED field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math, Environment, Design)

• Background in media or communications
