Pollinator Partnership (P2) is looking for an experienced and passionate professional who possesses the skills to lead and develop outreach and education programs at P2. This candidate should be an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, team-oriented professional, have a strong work ethic, and be committed to the mission and values of P2. The successful candidate should be interested in and knowledgeable about pollinator conservation, and education of adults and children.

Pollinator Partnership is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to protect and restore
populations of pollinator species. As the world’s largest organization devoted exclusively to the
preservation of birds, bees, butterflies, beetles, bats, and more, P2 plays a key role in preserving
terrestrial ecosystems, promoting agricultural productivity, and enhancing local communities
through pollinator-centered work. P2 has been actively supporting the conservation and
protection of pollinators throughout North America since 1996. A multifaceted approach using
original science; habitat preservation and creation; collaboration; policy outreach; and public
education has helped us achieve our goals in pollinator conservation. For more information, visit

Principal Responsibilities:
● Manage and advance the Pollinator Steward Certification program in collaboration with
the P2 team, including organizing and conducting virtual trainings, engaging with
external partners and speakers, and engaging with Pollinator Stewards.
● Work with the P2 team to manage and advance the School Garden Kit program.
● Participate with senior staff and the board in strategic planning on outreach and
education program growth and development.
● Conduct in person and virtual training sessions for adults and children, create content
appropriate for different ages and communities.
● Consult with external organizations to provide customized and targeted education and
outreach materials.
● Support P2 staff in the development and implementation of outreach and education
across various programs.
● Pursue fundraising and grant opportunities to support and develop outreach and
education programs.
● Participate in various other P2 programs and activities as time permits.
● Promote P2 outreach and education programs.
● Represent P2 at outreach events.

Required Skills:
● Undergraduate degree in biology, ecology, environmental science, horticulture, natural
resource management, education, or related field.
● Project management experience (2+ years).
● Education and outreach experience with children and adults (2+ years).
● Funding and grant writing experience with demonstrated success.
● Good understanding of pollinator and bee biology, and conservation, through education
and/or job experience.
● Understanding of habitat restoration, including plant ecology, site preparation, habitat
installation, and maintenance.
● Excellent interpersonal skills and team building ability.
● Ability to travel on a limited basis when needed, including a valid driver’s license and
clean driving record.
● Strong planning, implementation, and multitasking skills.
● Strong organizational and communication skills, including excellent verbal and written
communication skills.
● Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Preferred Skills
● Master’s degree in pollinator biology, conservation, education, or related field.
● Advanced courses or programs in childhood and/or adult education.
● Experience with modern and innovative pedagogical approaches.
● Bilingual (Spanish and/or French are an asset, with additional languages also valued).

Location: This is a remote position and an office will not be provided. Continental United States
preferred but residence in other locations in North America will be considered.

Compensation Information

Compensation: $55,000-$65,000 USD. Compensation will be based on experience and
qualifications. Medical and retirement benefits will be provided. Travel and expenses will be
reimbursed.
