Okanogan Conservation District is seeking an Education Specialist to implement education and outreach programs to pre-K through 12th grade youth in Okanogan County. Spend your days educating the community about natural resources and your time off exploring a region with excellent outdoor recreation opportunities!

Summary

Okanogan County is for the adventurous! Our region is well-known for superb recreational opportunities
and activities for every season, owing in part to an abundance of public land, rivers and lakes, and
more.

Okanogan Conservation District is comprised of volunteer board members and paid staff that are leaders in “on-the-ground conservation”. The district’s mission is to help land managers in Okanogan County achieve their conservation goals by providing voluntary, non-regulatory solutions.

The Education Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing education and outreach
programs that promote the conservation of natural resources in Okanogan County. Programming
developed and implemented by the person in this position is primarily directed towards youth in pre-K
through 12th grade, with some work directed towards and delivered to adults. We encourage those who possess many but not all of the skills and knowledge to apply for the position.

For more information, visit our website. Applicants must submit a cover letter, resume, and three references (at least two of which are professional) here.
