Gain experience working in the environmental field by joining Johnson Creek Watershed Council through Confluence AmeriCorps for an 11-month service term as the 2023-24 Outreach and Riparian Specialist. In this position you will:
- Plan and implement restoration projects with community volunteers
- Provide environmental education to youth throughout our watershed
- Work with multiple jurisdictional and non-profit partners to bring watershed awareness to the community
- Be an Outreach Team member for a non-profit organization
- Gain hands on experience while learning the function of a riparian area in a healthy watershed
- Work with an awesome group of people including staff, partners, and volunteers!

Compensation Information
Benefits:
- $18,300 living allowance paid over the course of the 11-month term (approx $1,660/month)
- $6,895 Segal Education Award to apply to qualified student loans or education expenses
