Junior Nature Camp (2 week residential camp, for campers aged 10-15) has several job openings for this summer! Dates are July 15-22 & July 23-30. Staff opportunities include: cook, assistant cook, medical staff, and mental health worker.

A fun work environment, where all staff work together for the success of the residential camp! Room and board included during camp.

Summary

Culinary positions: We are looking for motivated individuals to assist with cooking duties. We start at 6:30am, serve dinner at 6:00pm, and typically leave the kitchen around 8:00pm (shift work available).  These are long, fun days. We serve homemade food, family style for most meals. Some lunches are served buffet style. It is not necessary that an applicant be experienced in kitchen work, but very important to be able to take instruction and be willing to work. Medical staff: To be on-site during entirety of camp (some shift work available).  To attend to all medical needs of campers and staff.  Includes receiving, organizing, distributing, and documenting prescription meds at least three times a day.  Responds to all 1st aid emergencies.  Communicates with camper families as needed to assess and treat medical conditions. https://oionline.com/employment/.  Apply to mhaywood@oionline.com.

Mental Health worker: Provide behavioral and therapeutic supports to all campers through a variety of treatment techniques. To provide high quality direct treatment as needed by campers to positively respond to their daily environment. Services may include support planning, direct support, crisis intervention, and coordination with the family. Create a collaborative environment and establishes a therapeutic culture that supports a positive behavioral support model. Establish a relationship of trust and respect with campers and staff. Compensation Information

Culinary positions: $10 per hour, plus (optional) room and board during camp.

Medical staff: $1000 stipend, plus room and board during camp.

Mental Health worker: $10 per hour, plus (optional) room and board during camp.
