Summary

The Tualatin Hills Nature Center seeks team-oriented, nature enthusiasts to create quality community engagement and workforce training experiences for youth in the Beaverton area. This is a fantastic employment opportunity for individuals looking to work in the community inspiring youth and teens to connect with nature. This is a year-round position working with our Nature Mobile community engagement program and our Nature Experiences and Workforce Training (NEWT) Internship Program for Latinx youth.
Job Openings:
Environmental Education Director is responsible for the development and implementation of assigned nature programs. Incumbents in this job classification work independently, within established guidelines, to develop, coordinate, supervise, and instruct the day-to-day activities of assigned nature program areas and provide lead direction to assigned part-time staff and volunteers.
Compensation Information
Pay Rate Range: $17.59-$20.38
The fine print: you must be sixteen years old to apply; you must love working with kids; and you must be able to work outside, rain or shine.
We are hiring for a year-round position. Year-round staff may be scheduled up to 29 hours per week, year-round. Position will start mid-March. Hours are variable and based on programs and may include some nights or weekends.
