Algalita Marine Research and Education seeks an Engagement Director to lead community outreach for their environmental education program, Wayfinder Society. Wayfinder Society for Environmental Education is a dynamic, free online platform that includes environmental education lessons, activities, and toolkits for interactive classroom learning. Their community of environmental educators aim to cultivate creativity and imagination in their students – helping them become engaged citizens that can impact their local community.

Champion Wayfinder Society – creatively and consistently create engagement opportunities for the educator community to learn and grow. Get educators excited to journey with us.

Storytelling and Sharing – meet members of the Wayfinder Society community. Capture stories of connection, imagination, and optimism to share and inspire the community.

Advocate for environmental educators – actively seek and capture feedback and insights from the community to ensure Wayfinder Society meets their needs in and outside the classroom.

We are looking for a creative, energetic, flexible, and proactive individual who thrives in a collaborative environment – one who can bring a direct, honest, and respectful approach to problem-solving.
