Summary
Become a part-time educator with Sierra Nevada Journeys' Classrooms Unleashed program and earn $20/hr. Opening in Sacramento, California and Reno, Nevada. Teach outdoor environmental science to elementary students 15-30 per week, in the classroom and in the field at local nature areas. You’ll also lead families through hands-on STEM activities at Family STEM Nights evening events at local schools. Learn our best practices of the unique research-based approach to teaching science by the Lawrence Hall of Science at UC Berkeley. This experience is a great opportunity who may be earning their substitute teaching license.
Compensation Information
- $20 per hour
- Potential to earn an additional 3% in pay for bilingual fluency in Spanish or other languages that support our programs
