Summary
The School and Private Programs Coordinator is a regular, professional staff position, who manages all facets of the school and private programs, in coordination with other Teacher Naturalist staff, volunteers and interns. A key role for this position will be coordinating and leading programs in addition to mentoring and training those assisting or working within these program areas, ensuring the quality and legacy of the programs for the continuing future.
Major Responsibilities
Program Management:
- Conduct all administrative tasks required for program implementation
- Scheduling all programs, invoicing, payment processing, training of staff and interns, etc.
- Communicate and collaborate with partnering organizations and program participants.
Leading Educational Programs:
- Teach/lead both school and private programs; fulfilling the “lead” teacher role while actively leading programs.
- Ability to work with and engage all program participants and their chaperons
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time and be outside in all weather conditions.
Supervisor:
- Supervise the day to day activities of Teacher Naturalist's and interns as assigned
Additional Responsibilities:
- Participating in overall Center management, fundraising, and decision-making as part of the Center Leadership Team.
- Engage in Montana Audubon meetings and events.
- Provide additional support; as needed.

Compensation Information
Position: School & Private Programs Coordinator
Location: Billings, Montana
Position Status: Full-Time regular, occasional weekends and evenings
Salary: $35,000-38,000
Benefits: Vacation, Sick, Health, Dental, Vision, and Retirement plan
Start Date: March 13th, 2023
