Would you like to work on the water in 2023 and teach students about the environment on a historic Maryland Chesapeake Bay vessel? We are looking for talented outdoor educators to work on the Skipjack Sigsbee and Buyboat Mildred Belle teaching students and adults about the environment and local history.
Summary
NEW for 2023 we are hiring two short-term summer crew positions. As a summer crew member, you would help with our extended overnight summer trips. These programs are sailing and camping adventures where youth sail during the day on the boat and camp in tents at night. We run 3- and 5-day trips during a 6-week summer season. You would go with the ship and travel the Chesapeake while teaching and camping with youth ages 12-15.
Compensation Information
Summer Crew (June to Labor Day)- $1200/bi-weekly ($15/hour)
