Summary

YMCA of the Rockies, Camp Chief Ouray is hiring Cabin Counselors for the summer 2023 season. 

Preferred Dates: May 24th - August 12th, 2023
Location: Camp Chief Ouray (overnight camp of YMCA of the Rockies located on the property of Snow Mountain Ranch in Granby, Colorado.)

Position Summary: The Cabin Counselor provides leadership for, lives with, and cares for a cabin group of 8-10 campers in male and female identifying cabins. They are expected to work collaboratively with their co-counselor to ensure each camper’s physical, social, and emotional health and safety needs are met. They are responsible for all other aspects of the camper’s experience, with the expectation of exceptional customer service. The Cabin Counselor is responsible for organizing, planning and safely running one or more activity classes each week. All cabin counselors must be at least 18 years old. Must have current certification in CPR/First Aid or be willing to obtain certification.
