Part-time Virtual Field Trip Educator

Longwood Gardens is seeking a part-time Virtual Field Trip Educator to deliver curriculum-based programs to classrooms virtually. Educators can also participate in other School and Youth programs including teen workshops, outreach events, teen volunteers, and intergenerational learning. 

The ideal candidate will have:

•    a Bachelor’s degree in education, child development, family studies, online learning, or a closely related field 

•    2 or more years of experience teaching K–12 children in a virtual setting. 

•    As our team of educators engage diverse groups of students year-round, bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. 

•    Excellent communication skills.

•    Ability to work with all age levels.

•    Flexibility to work specific weekdays, as assigned.

•    A passion for nature and plants is recommended.

•    Experience teaching via Zoom or related platforms.

•    Completing Act 153 clearances and drug test.
