Farm Camp Counselor

Join our team for a summer on the farm! Successful counselors are patient, friendly and have experience with children of different abilities and backgrounds. Summer cousnelors are responsible for mentoring and leading children ages 5 - 15 on the farm through day and overnight programming. As a counselor, you will build meanignful relationship with youth, work and live in a community, learn to take care of a variety of farm animals and vegetable gardens, and gain valuable leadership skills in the process. *Candidates must also have the ability to participate and lead physical activities such as hiking and farm work.

Seasonal: June 13 - August 5, 2022

Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:

• has an articulated belief in the mission and values of Red Gate Farm
• is able to lead groups of children ages 5 - 15
• is able to work in a team and collaborate with fellow counselors
• is compassionate and kind and able to support children as they navigate challenges on the farm
• is willing to be trained in various tasks
• is organized and can keep track of daily schedules and activities
• is flexible to changes in daily activities

Compensation: $3,500 - $5,500 depending on experience
Additional benefits: room and board
