About us
Dream BIG Day Camp is Denver’s premier private day camp with over 16+ years of experience in the summer camp world. We are a fast-paced, fun, supportive small business and our goal is to encourage personal growth in each child by providing an excellent program facilitated by nurturing and highly trained staff. Campers range in age between 4-12 years old.
We are currently hiring Activity Directors specialized in:
- Gardening/Farmette
- Nature/Science
- STEM
- Outdoor Education
- Yoga
An Activity Director (AD) has extensive teaching or coaching experience in his/her area. We are looking for people who are passionate and creative in their areas of expertise. They must already possess the ability to teach and develop a child’s skills in that area. They will be asked to create their own curriculum, develop thorough lesson plans, and generate as much excitement as humanly possible in their activity area! The over-arching goal here is for campers to be safe, have fun and improve their skills.
In the details:
- Our Master Orientation program for new staff is Tuesday, May 31st-Saturday, June 4th, 2022.
- Summer Camp Sessions run Monday, June 6th-Friday, August 5th, 2022.
- We work Monday-Friday from 8:15 AM-3:15 PM with an additional staff meeting on Thursdays from 3:30-4:30 PM (36 hours/week)
- Our summer camp operates out of Denver Jewish Day School located at 2450 S Wabash St, Denver, CO 80231.
Compensation Information: Salary
The salary range is $14.00-$20.00/per hour dependent upon qualifications, experience, and certifications.
