We are a science and nature focused environmental education program in San Francisco. Our play-based outside all day curriculum helps campers develop positive social connections and supports personal growth opportunities while having outside and exploring nature inside the city! We also work with live reptiles to bring science alive every day

Summary

Spend your Summer Outside with TFT!

Tree Frog Treks is a popular, well-loved, San Francisco based nature and science education company. For 20 years TFT has been bringing hands-on wild-science programming to San Francisco schools, libraries and birthday parties. Throughout the summer, TFT campers explore nature in SF with the expert guidance of our energetic group of interpretive naturalists. Campers meet each morning in 1 of 5 public parks in San Francisco, from which they launch into all reaches of the city to discover local animal residents, magical feats of science and physics, and to enjoy learning and growing within a community of peers! Campers will also interact with live animal ambassadors. The experience of handling reptiles, amphibians, arachnids and insects helps bring science to life for our campers, and provides the unique opportunity to learn about and connect with local and exotic creatures and habitats.

Work with Reptiles and More!

At Tree Frog Treks we will introduce you to our live, rescued reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates. Meet Pablo the Bearded Dragon, and Spots the Leopard Gecko. Come face to face with frogs, salamanders, lizards, snakes and spiders! Get a snake massage from Blondie the Burmese Python! Seen above!

Our “Animal Ambassadors” are invaluable resources that help children appreciate the great diversity of life around us. Our hope is that with every exciting encounter, kids and adults alike will work even harder to save, preserve and maintain our home and all its inhabitants.
