Mecklenburg County Park & Recreation in Charlotte, North Carolina is seeking a part-time educator to implement agriculture/horticulture education programs at the new Northern Regional Recreation Center in Huntersville.

Summary

Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation is seeking an energetic and creative individual to join our dynamic team of environmental education and outdoor recreation professionals. This part-time position will develop and implement a variety of hands-on agriculture/horticulture education recreational programs for all ages. The incumbent will assist in developing and facilitating nature-based camps and will also be key in establishing and maintaining strong partnerships with our community. This position will be located at the Northern Regional Recreation Center and will work a schedule of up to 29 hours per week, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
