We are a group of young people who are focused on combatting Climate Change and educating ourselves on the issues that face our community. This is not like other jobs.
The Energy & Water Conservation program (E&W) is a team-based, 14 or 21 week-long program for individuals between the ages 18-24. E&W participants (called Corpsmembers) serve on community-based energy and water conservation projects throughout the Denver metro area. Corpsmembers will be enrolled in AmeriCorps—a national community service program.
Complete a Fall Term of Service with our Colorado Climate Corps program. This is a team based, 14 to 21 week-long program. Perfect for recent high school or college grads! Spend the rest of the year as a Colorado Climate Corps Corpsmembers and serve Metro Denver residents by installing inhome energy and water saving measures (low-flow toilets, kitchen and bathroom aerators, programmable thermostats, and LED light bulbs). Corpsmembers will educate the community on the importance of climate action and energy and water conservation. Daily you’ll be serving on a team of 2-3 other Corpsmembers to complete daily household appointments using MHYC provided vehicles, toolkits, and materials. *Denver Residents are strongly encouraged to apply*
Corpsmembers will earn up to $9,378.60 for a 14-week term or $13,967.20 for a 21-week term.
