Afterschool in Nature - Driver

Sage Mountain’s Afterschool in Nature program is offering a full time afterschool program to youth grades four through eight for the 2022-2023 school year.

Our mission is to ensure there are no barriers to youth in need accessing opportunities to learn, grow, and heal in nature. To that end, for families that qualify we are providing scholarships for tuition, transportation from school to the program, and transportation from the program to home.

We are hiring qualified local drivers to support youth of our community in participating in this program.

Position Details:

• Earn an hourly rate, plus mileage (62.5 cents per mile)
• Routes begin between 2:30-3:30 pm at the schools, depending on which school you transport
• Drivers can apply to transport all five days a week, or select one or more days per week to participate

We are currently seeking drivers for the following schools:

• Berlin Elementary School (14.3 miles from our center)
• Barre City Elementary and Middle (10.5 miles from our center)
• Orange Center School (3.3 miles from our center)

Requirements of Drivers:

• 18 years of age
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record
• Reliable transportation with current state registration inspection and insurance
• Complete a background check (paid for by our program)
