The Connecticut Outdoor and Environmental Education Association (COEEA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that serves as the official state affiliate of the North American Association for Environmental Education (NAAEE). We are a vibrant hub for environmental and outdoor education in Connecticut, working to bridge gaps in access to nature and foster a resilient future through environmental literacy. COEEA is a small organization led by an all-volunteer Board of Directors, and we are seeking an organized, committed individual to help meet our growing goals as we work to expand our membership, services, and partnerships.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Program Coordinator to help advance COEEA’s programs, partnerships, communications, and fundraising efforts. Working closely with our all-volunteer Board of Directors, this part-time role will provide dedicated coordination and support for the CT Green LEAF Schools program while also helping strengthen COEEA’s outreach, member engagement, and development activities.

This position is well suited to an organized, collaborative, and self-directed individual who enjoys bringing people and projects together, building relationships, communicating with diverse audiences, and helping turn ideas into action. The role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to environmental and outdoor education across Connecticut while working within a flexible, mostly remote schedule.
