Immediately hiring an enthusiastic, creative Summer Camp Lead who loves working with children! Our camp serves children age 6-8. Work Monday-Friday, 11:30-6 (with one hour of planning time) on Chicago's north side. Foster a child's lifelong love of nature with fun, creative activities and crafts.
Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as the Summer Camp Lead Guide. Our camp serves children aged 6 - 9 years of age in the Albany Park area.
Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in crafts, and a lot of creative ideas for craft activities
- Skilled in collaborating with teachers and other staff
- Strong communication abilities
- Vigilant situational and environmental awareness
Duties:
- Responsible for creating a fun and engaging environment for children while ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities for camp participants
- Supervise children during camp activities, ensuring their safety at all times
- Provide guidance and support to camp participants, promoting positive behavior
Credential Requirements:
- Prior experience working with children
- Ability to pass a criminal background check

Compensation Information
$20-23 hourly commensurate with experience
